Memorial Day Weekend is more than just the official kickoff for summer. It is a wonderful opportunity to remember those that serve and have served our country, especially those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
Cortlandt will do so at a ceremony that kicks off the long weekend.
The event starts at 1:30 p.m. May 24 at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, 29 Westbrook Drive in Cortlandt Manor.
