Zumbathon 'Party in Pink' Raises Money To Fight Cancer

Local dance studio hosts charity event to fight cancer.

The Hudson Dance and Tumble center in Montrose hosted a Zumbathon "Party in Pink" on Saturday to raise money for breast cancer.

Studio co-owner Jody Hirsch said, "As a small business, we feel very much a part of the community and this is our way of giving something back. It's who we are and it gives us a lot of joy."

The center donated the facility for two hours and instructor Suzi Tipa of Millwood donated her time. Coles Market donated food for the participants and all money raised goes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
