Book Review: Tarnished Hero by Jim Gilliam, 3.5 Stars

Tarnished Hero drew me in from the first line of, “All of us are capable of murder. Few of us actually do it.”  From a statement like that, how could any reader not be interested to read further?  Several times throughout the book, I was sitting at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next.  The ending was completely unpredictable and I couldn’t have thought up a better way to close the book.

I will be honest, I generally do not like books based on characters out of the Military because I feel that some authors lose the reader base in Military lingo.  But I didn't get lost or bored at all.

This book is categorized as a "thriller" and yes, I was "thrilled".   The only reason that I didn't rate this book 4 stars is because there were some technical issues (punctuation, spacing, spelling).  However, it was not enough to distract or take away from the story.
