PHS girls fall to Pride

Ossining standout Saniya Chong is one of the best prospects to come out of this area in girls basketball and Peekskill saw why when it traveled down Route 9 to Ossining Jan. 13.

Chong scored a game-high 38 points against the visiting Red Devils in front of Division I college scouts in a 104-60 victory.

Leading Peekskill was its own Division I star, Hofstra-bound Asia Jackson, who scored a team-high 20 points while grabbing four boards.

Teammate Lanay Rodney registered 12 points and five rebounds.
