Hendrick Hudson's ice-hockey squad had four well-deserving players who earned postseason honors. They were goalie Zachary Shapiro (all-league), defenseman Matthew Solnick (all-league honorable mention), forwards Brett Malinowksi (all-league honorable mention) and Sean Sweeny (all-league honorable mention).

Lakeland/Panas' ice-hockey squad also had well-deserving players who earned postseason honors.

They were defenseman Christian Gjelaj (all-league), forward Connor Bubolo (all-league honorable mention) and forward Patrick McKiernan (all-league honorable mention).

Hockey All-Stars 

The Journal News is deciding who should be its hockey all-stars for this season.

It's a tough process according to Mike Dougherty's post on the LoHud Hockey Blog.

Needless to say, if you have a favorite Hendrick Hudson Sailor, Lakeland/Panas Rebel or are an alumni/fan of another school and feel that there are players worthy from there of being selected, now is the time to speak up.
