Five local players earn gridiron honors
Walter Panas' Jende Akinleye, Ray Stewart, Maliq Wollaston, Jarred White and Hendrick Hudson's Sean Barry were named to the North squad, which will be playing at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at Mahopac High School in the Section 1 Senior Bowl.

Tamburri honored on senior night at Iona College
Former Hendrick Hudson volleyball star Nicole Tamburri, who helped lead the Sailors to two state titles in 2006 and 2007, took her game to the next level at Iona College.
That's where, along with Gaels teammate Molly O'Shea, she was honored at senior night on Nov. 12.
