Peekskill splits with John Jay-EF

girls basketball squads played a JV and Varsity doubleheader against John Jay-East Fishkill at Peekskill Dec. 14, with the two schools splitting the games.

Playing in the nightcap, the varsity, led by 20 points from Asia Jackson and nine from Troi Nolan, fell to the Patriots 52-45.

As for the first game, led by 13 points from Aaliyah Vereen and 10 from Taylor Clare, Peekskill's JV squad beat John Jay-EF 45-25.

Panas girls win in hoops

Led by 19 points from Heather Kelly, defeated visiting Haldane 45-37 in girls basketball Dec. 13.

Sailors win thriller

Led by eight points apiece from Meaghan Lynch and Megan Johoda, Hendrick Hudson's girls basketball team nipped visiting North Salem 35-34.
