Peekskill Recreation presents the Melvin T. Bolden All American Fishing Derby on Saturday May 5th at Lake Mitchell in the Depew Park for boys and girls 14 years and under. Registration begins at 8:30 am while the fishing starts at 9:00 am.

Prizes for the largest fish and most caught will be presented at 11:00 am.
The event is free but you must bring your own bait and poles. Gift bags and refreshments will be given to each participant. Come with the entire family and enjoy the sport of fishing.

Girls Lacrosse
Hendrick Hudson earned a 14-14 tie at Arlington April 9.
The Sailors were led by Alexa Seger, who registered three goals and Angela Marriott, who tallied four goals and one assist.

Softball
Hen Hud took on visiting Arlington B April 9, falling to the Admirals 10-8.
The Sailors were led by Julie Gaspar, who was 3 for 4 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored. Teammates Megan Jahoda and Cassidy Boyle each recorded a double and an RBI according to Rob Cristino's post on the LoHud Softball Blog.
