Men's Lacrosse

Former Lakeland/Panas lacrosse All-American Robert Caffrey (Lakeland '11) is now playing the sport at Providence College.

The freshman attackman and his teammates lost a tough one in their most recent contest, 11-9 at Manhattan College March 3.

See the Friar's website for the game details.

Providence's next game is against visiting Georgetown at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17.

Lax Rule Adjustments

The Hendrick Hudson, Peekskill and Lakeland/Panas boys lacrosse squads will have to get used to some adjustments to the rules that are being made this year, with the biggest among them being the elimination of the 10-second count after the initial touch.

See what it's all about in Mike Dougherty's post on the LoHud Boys Lacrosse Blog.

Little-League Registration

The Peekskill Lapolla Little League is accepting registration for its upcoming spring season. See this page on its website for more information.
