Hen Hud Superintendent: Twitter Account, New Email

Joseph Hochreiter, Hendrick Hudson's new superintendent, is looking to stay in touch with the community.

That means two email addresss—Joseph.Hochreiter@HenHudSchools.org and superintendent@HunHudSchools.org; the latter for convenience purposes because of his lengthy name. It takes the "guesswork out" for those looking to shoot him a quick email, officials said in a statement.

"Communicating important information from the district, as well as providing additional avenues for stakeholders to be informed is vitally important," Hochreiter said in a statement. "It is my sincere hope that parents, community members ,staff and students will feel a bit more connected to the activities of the district and that I am accessible through these initiatives."

Local folks can also find Hochreiter on Twitter, under the handle @HenHudSupt. His posts will be listed on the district's website, under the Twitter tab on the right-hand side of the page.

"This is yet another communication vehicle to keep everyone informed as well as to celebrate the many successes of our students," the new superintendent said. "It is a great tool to communicate important information in a timely manner to large groups of constituents."
