Four Hen Hud Seniors Commit to College Lacrosse Teams

Brett Dalton, Joe Fraietta, Matt Ledwin and Kevin McDermott all signed letters of intent.

Four members of the Hendrick Hudson High School Boys’ Lacrosse senior class have committed to play the sport at the next level:

  • Brett Dalton- Committed to SUNY Cortland
  • Joe Fraietta- Committed to SUNY Stony Brook
  • Matt Ledwin- Committed to Johns Hopkins
  • Kevin McDermott- Committed to Salisbury University

Greg Solomon, the team’s head coach, was very proud of his seniors.

“This is a great day for the Hen Hud lacrosse team,” Solomon said.  “I  am proud of these young men.  They have continued to work very hard and their hard work has rewarded them with this.  I am very excited to follow these young men in their college careers.”

Hen Hud Athletic Director, Tom Baker, was also proud of these young men.

“All of them are great role models for our younger generation,” Baker said. “All of them will be missed in several areas as all of them are successful multi-sport athletes here at Hen Hud.  Brett and Matt also play Ice Hockey, Joe plays football, and Kevin wrestles.  Not only are all of them successful lacrosse players, but also in the other sports as well.  Hen Hud is very proud of our athletes that move on to play in college, and these four young men will continue to make Hen Hud proud in the future.”
