Peekskill-Cortlandt Patch House of the Week
This new column by Joel Heumann will focus on local bargains and high-end gems in the local housing market.
Try this on for size: Over 4 acres, 10,000 square foot converted stone barn, 8 bedrooms, six baths. Pool. Tennis court. Two minutes from a major highway and convenient to 2 local train stations. Give me a price.
Elsewhere in Westchester something like this would sell for $2.2 million in Bedford and as much as $9 million in Scarsdale. But 9 South Mountain Pass in Cortlandt Manor has an asking price of $1 million, far and away the lowest asking price for anything remotely similar anywhere in Westchester.
Take a look at the photos. Drop-dead gorgeous and a bargain, for those who can afford it.
