Where Are Cortlandt's Biggest Potholes?

The area has seen a mix of below-freezing temperatures and warmer conditions in recent weeks, which means freezing and thawing that leads to plenty of potholes on local roads.

While main thoroughfares like Route 6 are maintained by the New York State Department of Transportation, the Town of Cortlandt is responsible for other local roads.

So where are the worst streets in your neighborhood? Contact the town highway department--be ready to provide the exact street address and the nearest cross road--at 914-737-0047. If the route is maintained by the state, dial 1-800-POTHOLE. And let local folks know about them here, or with a photo in the Conversations tab.
