Trustees Theresa Knickerbocker and Duane Jackson withstood a challenge from former mayor Al Donahue in the March 19 election, according to unofficial results from the Buchanan Village Clerk.
Knickerbocker was the top vote-getter with 263 votes. Jackson received 248. Donahue trailed with 164 votes.
A retired state trooper who had been mayor for six terms, Donahue ran on the Republican ballot line.
Knickerbocker and Jackson are Democrats.
Jackson was appointed as village trustee after Jane Hitney stepped down.
Knickerbocker is in her second stint on the board. She served as village trustee from 1994-98 and then was re-elected in 2009.
