Sleepy Hollow Democratic Nominees Are...

Despite the Mayor and others having a slightly different slate in mind, the Dems endorsed veteran Bruce Campbell and Evelyn Stupel, along with newcomer Glenn Rosenbloom.

Here's the official Democratic ticket decided at Saturday's caucus in Sleepy Hollow:

  • Mayor Ken Wray rerunning
  • Trustee Bruce Campbell rerunning
  • Trustee Evelyn Stupel rerunning
  • with newcomer (and current chair of Planning Board) Glenn Rosenbloom

However, the Mayoral/Trustee slate endorsed by the Mayor and four of the current Trustees includes:

  • Wray
  • Stupel
  • Rosenbloom
  • and newcomer Vishal Brown (now serving as chair of the Recreation Advisory Committee)

This group says they plan to still run together under a different party.

Justice Andres Valdespino received the endorsement unopposed for another four-year term.

Stay tuned Monday for video and full story.

help me on this. Gandolfo is the village attorney who is appointed by the Mayor and doubles as the town Demo chairwoman and also runs the caucus? Seems a bit strange even by Tarrytown politics. what is really going on?

You hit it right on the he'd gargamel. Gandolfo has it all figured out. She chairs the democratic committee. She hand picks who will run on that ticket. Runs the campaign, and if her mayor takes office, she is appointed village attorney as compensation. She then runs the village through her chosen flunkies covered with an unprecedented blanket of protection under the guise of "village attorney." She then collects a redicilous salary as a "part time" village attorney while the others collect a modest compensation. She is the highest paid part time village mayor in the county. The woman is as genius as she is evil. Not to mention that they have done nothing for the village other than fulfill their own personal agendas. Corruption at its best.
