“I’m very happy to have had a part in the continued success of Eagle Fest and the Teatown Lake Reservation,” said Senator Ball.  “I am so happy that this money will allow the Teatown Lake Reservation to continue their great work. Eagle Fest allows an amazing opportunity for kids to come out every year to learn about the bald eagle and to get to see these amazing birds in action.”

“Teatown is tremendously grateful to Senator Ball for standing by his commitment to support the vital work we do in particular our celebration of the vibrant return of the bald eagle to the lower Hudson Valley, Teatown’s Hudson River Eaglefest. Senator Ball’s original commitment of $20,000 allowed us to hold last February’s event,” said Dianne Barron, Executive Director of Teatown Lake Reservation. “Greg’s resourcefulness and tenacity in securing a bullet aid grant for Teatown for the same amount has boosted our year end picture significantly.  We are hopeful for continued support from the Senator.”
