Although rain forced organizers to move Cortlandt's Seventh Annual Family Fun Day from Saturday to Sunday, families still managed to have a good time.
The event featured free rides, food, cotton candy and popcorn, a “small world” area geared towards six year olds and younger. There was also face painting, fake tattoos, hair painting and the youth center.
The event, which is sponsored by the Town of Cortlandt Parks and Recreation Department, is put on each year with the help of more than 100 volunteers, along with local businesses and organizations.
