Two men and a woman are facing felony charges in connection with a string of thefts in the Northern Westchester area, state police said.

Troopers stopped a vehicle on East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt on Jan. 15 and found the three occupants with several thousand dollars worth of clothing stolen from a number of area businesses including the Kohl's department Store in Cortlandt and the Sears department store in the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown, police said.

The vehicle operator, Robin Mindingall, age 56, and her two passengers, Barry M. Brown, age 53, and Louis S. Nowell, age 61, all White Plains residents, were arrested and charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, felony. The crime is punishable by up to four years in state prison, police said.

Mindingall was processed and scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Jan. 24. Brown and Nowell were arraigned in Cortlandt Town Court and were remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail. They were scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 17.

State police troopers are continuing the investigation into other crimes this group may be responsible for in Westchester.
