State police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested a 60-year-old Peekskill man after responding to a report of a theft at a local grocery store.
Troopers were dispatched Sunday afternoon to ShopRite to investigate a larceny of steak and shrimp reported by loss prevention officers, officials said in a statement.
The defendant is facing a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny. He is due Oct. 25 in Cortlandt Justice Court.
