Troopers Charge Teens After Party at Vacant Cortlandt Home

State troopers at the Cortlandt barracks arrested two teens on felony charges of second-degree burglary in connection with a party at a vacant home, police said Friday.

The teens, who troopers did not identify in a statement, are accused of entering a vacant home on Putnam Road in Cortlandt Manor and throwing a party. "Numerous other teens" attended, according to officials.

"During the party extensive damage was done to the floors, walls and garage of the home," authorities said.

Following arraignment in Cortlandt Justice Court, the teens were sent to jail on $1,500 bail. They are due back July 19.
