Troopers Charge Teen in Burglary at Hen Hud High School

A 15-year-old Ossining resident is facing a felony charge in connection with a Sept. 17 burglary at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, troopers said.

New York State Police at the Cortland barracks announced the arrest this week. Because he is a juvenile, they are not releasing the defendant's name.

The burglary took place during the evening hours of Tuesday, Sept. 17. When police arrested the defendant, they found the "proceeds of the crime:" an iPhone, iPods, sneakers, headphones and a small amount of cash.

Investigator Sean J. Morgan and Trooper David I. Turner made the arrest. Police worked with school district officials during the investigation.

The teen was arrested as a juvenile and is facing a felony charge of third-degree burglary. He will be due in Weschester Family Court at a later date.
