Two men are scheduled to appear in Peekskill city court Wednesday after they were allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop on Elizabeth Street.
Peekskill city police arrested Bryan Williams, 31, and Clarence Bolton, 36, both of Peekskill, on Sept. 6 and charged them with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree, a felony, and unlawful possession of a marijuana, a misdemeanor.
At about 5 p.m., an officer allegedly observed Bolton throw litter from out of car driven by Williams and conducted a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, the officer allegedly found one-eighth of an ounce of crack and a small amount marijuana in the vehicle.
Both men were arraigned and sent Westchester County Jail without bail.
