Police: Woman Reports Being Held at Gunpoint, Cops Find Crack

Peekskill Police arrested a 49-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man after the former claimed she was being held at gunpoint, officials say.

Donna Langley of Peekskill is facing a misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting an incident, and Ennis Hayes, also of Peekskill, a misdemeanor charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The incident occurred at a Main Street apartment at about 2:30 a.m. May 30. 

"Upon arrival to the scene, Langyel informed officers she had not been threatened in any manner but was angry at the owner, Hayes, for telling her to leave the apartment," authorities said in a statement.

While in the apartment, police noticed "several pieces of drug paraphernalia containing crack cocaine.
