Nibal Carter, 22, of Albany arrested by Westchester County Police at Kohl’s department store on Route 6 and charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, on June 27. She was detained by store security and accused of attempting to leave the store without paying for $325 worth of merchandise, including a pair of sneakers and items of clothing.
On Saturday, June 23 at 1:30 p.m., Carmen Alvarez, 30, of Pemart Avenue, Peekskill, was arrested by Westchester County Police at Kohl’s department store on Route 6 and charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She was detained by store security and accused of attempting to leave the store without paying for $130 worth of earrings and perfume.
On June 23 at 7:36 p.m. Heather Shurak, 28, of East Boulevard, Peekskill, was arrested by Westchester County Police at Kohl’s department store on Route 6 and charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She was detained by store security and accused of attempting to leave the store without paying for a silver necklace.
Loud Argument Reported to Police
On Friday, June 22 at 6:02 p.m. Westchester County Police responded to Wayne Avenue in Verplanck on a report of a loud argument between a taxi driver and two passengers. The taxi was gone upon an officers’ arrival.
