State Police arrested Thomas J. Doerr, 59, of Verplanck NY June 6 and charged him with Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.
Police said Doerr entered a Verplanck residence to steal property. He was apprehended by troopers while he was still inside.
Doerr was arraigned before Justice D.F. McCarthy and sent to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail. He is due to return to Town of Cortlandt Court on June 13.
