Police: Peekskill Man Assaults Teenage Daughter

It does not indicate a conviction: Police responded to a domestic violence call and found Bertony Smalls, a 42-year-old Peekskill man, had allegedly physically assaulted his 15-year-old daughter, on Fremont Street on April 28. The girl was sent to thefor lacerations and bruising to her head and face.
Smalls, who was additionally found to have an outstanding warrant out of the City of Yonkers for Vehicle and Traffic Offenses, was arrested for third degree assault, a misdemeanor, and held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
