Police: Driver's Behavior Provided Clues to His BAC

Peekskill, New York – State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested a 53 year-old Peekskill man for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor,  at 2:42 a.m. June 13.
 
Troopers conducted a welfare check on the vehicle he was operating when they observed the vehicle off of the roadway.  The driver exhibited behavior that indicated he was intoxicated.
 
He provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the City of Peekskill Court June 25.
