Possession of Heroin

An 18-year-old Verplanck resident was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, a misdemeanor on July 12 at 4:40 p.m. on Water Street. The defendant, Andrew Pardee, was stopped for a minor vehicle and traffic offense and found to be in possession of several glassine envelopes containing heroin and a hypodermic needle. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.

Driver Slides Off Roadway, Arrested for DWI 

Peekskill police charged 51-year-old Cortlandt Manor resident Mark Weinborg with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, on July 15 at 8 p.m. on Louisa and Lower South Street.

Police say Weinborg lost control of his vehicle and slid off the roadway. Officer Franco investigated and learned that Weinborg had been operating his vehicle while intoxicated and took him into custody. He was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Peekskill City Court on Aug. 2 at 11 a.m.

 

Police: Man Asleep at Wheel Charged with DWI

Peekskill police responded to a report of a male asleep at the wheel of a vehicle in the middle of Rev. Wiggins Blvd and found Jaime Anguisaca, a 32-year-old Peekskill resident on July 14 at 8:15 p.m. Police charged him with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. He was released on $500 bail and is due to appear in Peekskill City Court on July 19 at 11 a.m.
