Peekskill Police: Woman Stole More Than $500 Worth of Items

A 47-year-old Bronx woman is facing a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny in connection with a theft at the Stop and Shop on Main Street in Peekskill, according to officials.

Officer Elizabeth Folch responded to the incident, which occurred at about 9:30 a.m. July 25. Store security reportedly stopped the woman, who is accused of leaving with more than $500 worth of merchandise that she did not buy.

The defendant was arrested and held while she awaited arraignment.
