Peekskill Police Arrest Second Suspect in December Knifepoint Robbery

Jose Rios, 44, of Newburgh, is scheduled to appear in Peekskill court next month after he allegedly committed a knifepoint robbery in December.

A 44-year-old Newburgh man is scheduled to appear in in Peekskill court of Feb. 7 after he allegedly assisted in a knifepoint robbery at residence on Highland Avenue last month.

Peekskill police arrested Jose Rios, 44, of Newburgh, and charged him with first-degree robbery on Jan. 15.  Police said Rios and , committed the robbery on Dec. 12.

Rios and Gallichio allegedly stole a laptop computer and other personal items during the robbery.

Gallichio’s next court date is scheduled for May 13.
