Peekskill Police Arrest 3 Women in Morning Drug Raid

Linda Randolph, Paris Dawson and Naya Austin were arrested earlier today following a drug raid at residence on John St. The women were arrested following a four-month investigation into crack sales in the area.

Three woman face felony counts for drug sales and possession after they were arrested this morning during a drug bust inside a residence at 833 John St. in Peekskill.

Members of the Peekskill Police Department’s Tactical Response Team arrested 46-year-old Linda Randolph, along with 18-year-old suspects Paris Dawson and Naya Austin and charged them with multiple counts of third-degree criminal sales and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said the women were the main targets of the raid, which took place at about 6 a.m. today. Police said the arrests were the culmination of four-month investigation by Peekskill police and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety into crack sales in the area.

The woman allegedly sold crack to an undercover officer on several occasions.

“The City of Peekskill Police Department will not tolerate drug offenders in our community and we will continue to utilize all of our resources  to combat the illegal drug trade,” Peekskill Police Chief Eric Johansen said in a statement.

Police said they allegedly recovered a small amount of crack, drug packaging materials and other paraphernalia.

All three women were arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail. Randolph was sent to jail without bail, while Austin and Dawson received a $30,000 bail. They are scheduled to reappear in city court on April 29.

A fourth person, 32-year-old Cenghis Muhammad of Peekskill, was charged a misdemeanor for false personation after he allegedly gave police a fake name during the raid. His status was unavailable Monday afternoon.
