State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested John W. Heffernan, Jr., 59, for Driving While Intoxicated.
The Peekskill resident was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated due to a previous DWI conviction, police said.
Troopers stopped the car he was operating after he failed to utilize a turn signal.
Heffernan provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .15 percent.
He was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering him to appear before the City of Peekskill Court June 5.
