Peekskill Man Arrested for Tire Iron Attack
Hugo Lalvay, 19, of Peekskill, is scheduled to appear in court Thursday after he hit another man in the head with tire iron, according to police.
PEEKSKILL, NY—A 19-year-old Peekskill man is scheduled to appear in court here Thursday after he allegedly hit another man with a tire iron earlier this month.
Peekskill city police arrested Hugo Lalvay and charged him with second-degree assault, a felony, on Oct. 16. Police Lalvay hit another man in the head with a tire iron on Union Avenue at about 7:30 a.m., causing a cut to the victim’s head.
Lalvay was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail with bail set at $1,500. In addition to the assault charge, Lalvay is also being held in jail by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
