Parents Caught 14-year-old Girl Sneaking Out for Sex

The 21-year-old she had met on Facebook faces 3 felony charges.

A 21-year-old Peekskill resident faces three felony charges.

The parents of the 14-year-old Putnam Valley girl he had been seeing contacted the New York state police July 21 to report finding their daughter trying to sneak out of the house to meet up with a man.

Police investigating the case determined that it wasn't the first time they had had an assignation for sex.

The girl had met the man on Facebook, and he had sent her intimate photos of himself before inviting her to meet him. She had snuck away from home and he had picked her up down the street.

He knew she was 14, police said.

Kyle Clarke was charged with second degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act, and first-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor.

He was arraigned before Town of Putnam Valley Justice Gina C. Capone.  His bail was set at $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond and he was sent to the Putnam County Jail pending his next court appearance Aug. 13.
