New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks charged a 34-year-old Cortlandt man with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, May 28.
Troopers stopped him on Sherwood Road after he was observed operating a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt.
He provided police with a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .20 percent, police said.
He was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court.
