Loose Dog Angers Neighbor on Westbrook Drive
On Sunday, April 29 at 2:21 p.m. Westchester County Police responded to a dispute between neighbors on Westbrook Drive that began after one resident’s dog ran on to a neighboring lawn. The dog owner said she was cursed at by her neighbor when she went to retrieve the dog. Both parties returned to their homes and no additional police action was required.
Cell Phone Disappears at Party on Crescent Drive
On Sunday, April 29 at 11:28 p.m. a resident of Crescent Drive reported to Westchester County Police that his friend’s cell phone was stolen during a party at the residence. The resident was advised to have the owner of the phone, who was no longer present, contact county police to provide more information about the missing phone.
Identity Theft
On Friday, April 27 at 11 a.m. a resident of Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor reported to Westchester County Police that he believes he has been the victim of identity theft. The case has been forwarded to detectives from the General Investigations Unit.
Sleepy Hollow Woman Arrested for Theft from
On Friday, April 27 at 10:17 p.m. Ivellise Villavizer, 36, of Cortlandt Street, Sleepy Hollow, was charged by county police with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, after store security at Kohl’s on Route 6 alleged that she attempted to leave the store without paying for $39 worth of jewelry and perfume.
Peekskill Man Arrested for Theft from Kohl’s
On Tuesday, April 17 at 5:20 p.m. Carlos Chavez, 28, of Highland Ave. Peekskill was arrested by county police at Kohl's department store on Route 6 and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Chavez was stopped by store security who alleged that Chavez tried to leave the store without paying for two sets of earrings valued at $90.
