Troopers: Local Woman Steals $95 Worth of Items from Home Depot

A 46-year-old Cortlandt Manor woman is accused of stealing air fresheners, fire-starter logs, a lockbox and tape from the local Home Depot, according to officials.

State troopers from the Cortlandt barracks made the arrest at about 2:40 p.m. Monday, after the store's loss prevention team reported a shoplifter in custody. The defendant is accused of concealing the items—worth $95.32—in her pocketbook and attempting to exit the store, passing all points of sale.

The woman posted station bail. She is due Monday in Cortlandt Justice Court.
