Fresh Snowprints Lead Peekskill Police to Car Break-In Suspect
Rajeam Jackson is scheduled to appear in Peekskill city court on Feb. 19 after he was found with a number of items he allegedly stole from cars on Feb. 9.
A 19-year-old homeless man is scheduled to appear in Peekskill city court on Feb. 19 after he allegedly stole from a number cars in the area of Union Avenue and Elm Street on Feb. 9.
Police arrested Rajeam Jackson and charged him with a felony count of criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor count for petty larceny and a violation for marijuana possession.
Police arrested Jackson at about 1:45 a.m, after they received complaints from residents in the area of Union Avenue and and Elm Street about an unknown man entering there vehicles.

Responding officers followed a set of fresh footprints that were left in the snow and tracked Jackson down to the 600 block of Ringgold Street.
Jackson allegedly had stolen items in possession, including a credit card, lotto tickets and watches, when he was stopped.

He was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail with a $5,000 cash bail
