An 18-year-old from Verplanck is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following a recent arrest in Buchanan.
State police stopped the defendant on Albany Post Road at about 2:10 a.m. Aug. 2, after she failed to maintain her lane. Troopers found her to be intoxicated.
The teen was released following the arrest. She is slated to appear in Village of Buchanan Justice Court Aug. 13.
