Miss Italia Peekskill to Compete in Miss NY USA Pageant

Miss Italia Peekskill, Nadia Manginelli, age 21 from Peekskill, NY will be competing in the Miss New York USA Pageant. Miss Manginelli will be representing all Italian Americans of the Hudson Valley on January 18th and 19th at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College.

Nadia graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School and BOCES Cosmetology School and works as a hairstylist at the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa in Mount Kisco, NY. She is a huge supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Miss Manginelli was crowned as Miss Italia Peekskill last November and has been making personal appearances promoting and creating awareness of the Italian Heritage and Culture at charitable functions, parades and community events. Prior to being crowned Miss Italia Peekskill, Nadia competed in several pageants both in the US and Italy. She is a first runner up in the 2014 Miss Westchester Pageant.

The Miss New York USA Pageant runs annually. The winner represents New York State in the National Miss New York USA Pageant. The contestants compete in swimsuit, evening gown and personal interviews categories.
