Peekskill Pageants is proud to announce that Miss Italia Peekskill, Nadia Manginellii, age 21 of Peekskill, NY competed in the Miss New York USA Pageant this past weekend. She placed in the top 20 and received the Best Swimsuit award. The Best Swimsuit award is given to the contestant which shows the best physically fit body, which includes a healthy body.
This is Nadia's second attempt at the Miss New York USA Pageant. Nadia has competed in several pageants in the United States and Italy. Prior to winning the Miss Italia Peekskill title, she was first runner up in the 2014 Miss Westchester Pageant.
Recently, Miss Manginelli has been attending Hudson Valley parades, charitable functions and community events in her duty of promoting and creating an awareness of the Italian Heritage and Culture.
Peekskill Pageants runs the Miss Italia Peekskill Pageant and the Miss Cinco de Mayo Peekskill Pageant annually. It is always in search of new contestants and financial sponsorship for both pageants.
