What happens when you bring golf, good food, amazing auction items and Moms on a mission together? The AUGIE'S 2nd ANNUAL GOLF OUTING TO BENEFIT AUTISM SPEAKS happens. Coming Monday, Aug. 6, the golf outing is so much more than your usual tee offs and auction.
This event is close to Audrey Hochroth and Sal Barone's heart. They have supported Autism Speaks events for many years, including my Lakeland team for the Annual Walk. Last year, they went the next step and created their own event, raising $45,000.
They dedicate the event to their daughter Niki and strive to help other families that know what autism is first hand.
The event was such a success last year because of the incredible team Augie's put together and the community support. Those wishing to participate or donate items, time. etc. should contact Audrey Hochroth.
Whether you want to be part of the whole day from breakfast/registration to dinner and auction at Augies or just be part of tee time at the Hollowbrook you are welcome to join the fun.
