PEEKSKILL DEBATE UPDATE

Everyone keeps asking whether or not there will be a debate. 

Negotiations involving the League of Women Voters, the Democrats and the GOP have been under way, and a proposed format including rules was emailed by the League to representatives of both parties on October 8.  The Democrats have accepted the format. 

"We accepted right away." said Peekskill Council Member Andrew Torres, "This is a great opportunity for voters to hear where the candidates stand on the issues."

The Democrats are waiting for the GOP to announce its acceptance.

If the GOP accepts the invitation, the debate will be held on October 29th at 7 PM at our very own Paramount Hudson Valley Theatre on Brown St.
