main street peekskill

main street from the bottom of the hill to the top by beach shopping center is becoming a real dangerous road for either crossing the street or walking with you back towards the traffic while walking up the hill on the side walk.

with most cars busses and many are over the speed limit by as much as 25 mph .

the limit is 30 mph.but just stand off to the side and watch the traffic move at any where from 40-50 mph

going down the hill is just as bad.i my self did approach the city meeting back in jan 2014 and reactions were plain faces saying we will look into it.

every town around peekskill has police watching every where having to do with traffic.

I hope it doesn't take a person or persons to get killed on main street before some thing is done to cut down on this problem of speeding
