KFM Foundation Million Hair Challenge

On Saturday March 22nd at 7:00pm, Beale Street Barber Shop of South St. in Peekskill, NY ,NAYGN  and Division Street Grill Peekskill ,NY, will host the first ever Million-Hair Challenge Hair Drive to benefit the Kathleen F Marks Memorial Foundation. Six participants will cut a minimum of eight inches of hair to donate to KFM. The hair will be used to make wigs for local patients who cannot afford to purchase their own human hair wigs.

This hair drive is the first to be held for the KFM Memorial Foundation’s “Hair Because You Care” wig program. Each participant has been fundraising for weeks and the money they raise individually or with team members will be used to pay for the custom human hair wigs to be made. In just a few weeks our participants and their teams have already raised nearly $3000. The goal for this event is to have three wigs made for local patient use through The KFM Memorial Foundation.
