Robert P. McLaughlin of Mohegan Lake passed away suddenly on July 19, 2013. He was 62.
McLaughlin was born Nov. 4, 1950 in the Bronx to Thomas and Ann McLaughlin. He married Dorothea Brodowski on Aug. 31, 1975. He retired from Verizon in 2003 after 34 dedicated years and later worked in the Lakeland School District’s custodial department.
He played racquetball avidly at Club Fit in Yorktown and was also a collector of Lionel trains. McLaughlin leaves behind his loving wife Dottie, devoted children Michael, Joseph, Karen and Denise, daughter-in-law Astrid, grandson Aiden, abrother Thomas, a sister JoAnn, and sisters-in-law Stasia McLaughlin and Virginia Brodowski.
