Nov. Funeral Scheduled for Rose A. Quinlan, 92, of Montrose

From the Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown: Rose A. Quinlan died on Oct. 9, 2012; she was 92.  

Mrs. Quinlan was born in 1920 in Manhattan. She retired From the National Board YWCA and was a resident of Peekskill and Yorktown before moving to the new york State Veterans Home in Montrose.  She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Marino and her son-in-law Paul Duffy.

She is survived by her daughters Rose Duffy and Mary-Jo Gallo and son-in-law Richard Gallo, as well as five grandchildren: Melissa, Michael, Sean, Kelly and Caitlyn.  Mrs. Quinlan was a third order Franciscan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Chapel at Mount Saint Francis in Peekskill on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Sisters of Peekskill, 250 South Street, Peekskill, NY 10566.
