Buchanan's Harry T. DiPietro Sr. Passes at Age 76

DiPietro was the owner of Da-Ro's in Buchanan for 42 years.

Harry T. DiPietro Sr. died on May 22, 2012. He was 76 years old. Harry was born in Buchanan, NY to Ercole "Harry" and Maria (Trequarti) DiPietro on April 5, 1936.He graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School. He served in the US Army form 1958-1959.

Harry was the Owner/Operator of store in Buchanan for 42 years. Harry was a Life Member of the Buchanan Engine Company. He served as the Grand Marshall in the Buchanan St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Harry is survived by his wife Vivian, sons, Rick and Ken (Stacey), daughter, Rose-Ann, sister Mary Ann Perez, brother, Ralph C., 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and serveral nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his son Harry Jr., brothers, Joseph and Nicholas DiPietro.

Reposing, Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan. Interment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor,NY.
