Arrangements Set for Derailment Victims Jim Lovell, James Ferrari

Funeral arrangements have been set for two area residents who died in Sunday's train derailment.

An obituary for James Ferrari, the 59-year-old Montrose resident who was heading to work, is available by clicking here. He is survived by his wife, daughter, parents, siblings and nieces and nephews.

The Cortlandt Funeral Home (97 Broadway Avenue in Verplanck) will hold calling hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 4). Funeral services are slated for 10 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 5) at the Church of Divine Love (80 Sunset Road) in Montrose.

Calling hours for Jim Lovell, the 58-year-old Cold Spring resident who leaves behind a wife and three sons, are scheduled for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 5) at the Clinton Funeral Home in Cold Spring (21 Parrott Street). A funeral Mass is set for 11 a.m. Friday (Dec. 6) at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring (24 Fair Street).
