White Plains, NY-June 20...Assemblyman Robert Castelli today endorsed businessman and Rye Town Supervisor Joe Carvin for Congress. Mr. Carvin is running in a Republican primary in the 17th congressional district. The election will be held on Tuesday, June 2th.
Assemblyman Robert J. Castelli said, "Joe Carvin is a public servant whose commitment to equality and justice for all embody the principles of the party of Lincoln. Using his considerable business acumen, he has adhered to free market, limited government principles with demonstrable success during his time in local government. I proudly endorse Joe, knowing that by sending him to Washington, we will have someone who is well qualified to fix our economy and create much-needed jobs."
"I'm so grateful to Assemblyman Castelli for his support of my campaign," said Mr. Carvin. "Our leaders in Washington are tone-deaf to the economic struggles facing Westchester and Rockland families. Working with true fiscal conservatives, like Bob Castelli, we can return New York to the booming state it once was."
Assemblyman Castelli represents the towns of Harrison, New Castle, North Castle, Mount Kisco, and the city of White Plains in the 17th Congressional District.
